The 5 Best Food Truck Locations in the GTA

Food trucks are an up and coming phenomenon and are booming right now. There are many different food truck locations the food trucks tend to park, sometimes being the most unexpected places.

The top 5 locations to find food in Toronto and the surrounding area are:

1.       Festivals – Festivals are a great place to find food trucks. Whether you are waking around enjoying other sights and activities at a festival or just go for the food it a great place to find awesome food trucks. An example is the Burlington Sound of Music Festival. This is a summer festival that consists of music, family activities and food. The food trucks that you can find here are regular fish and chip trucks, funnel cake trucks, and the infamous gorilla cheese truck.

2.       Food Truck Alleys – A very new but very popular and common place to find food trucks. Food truck alleys are popular in Hamilton and Toronto. These areas designated for a variety of food trucks to sell their yummy food.

3.       Community Events – Community events are starting to integrate food trucks into their activities. A specific community event in my area that had a food trucks was an outdoor movie event for charity. I thought that this was a great way to attract people to come to not only watch the movie but also grab some snacks or dinner also.

4.       Tourist Areas – This is especially common in downtown Toronto. There are many food trucks in Toronto in areas where tourists tend to be.

5.       Roadside – The first food trucks that I remember are French fry trucks. These types of food trucks are usually on the side on the road on busy streets. I find the French fries that you get here are usually the best kind, think cut and oh so tasty.
